Upstream: A Center for Mindfulness Practice and Holistic Mental Health will hold its second seasonal Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8-week class series beginning April 29, 2013. Upstream teaches MBSR, a structured approach proven to help reduce stress, anxiety, pain and more through mindfulness techniques like breathing exercises, mindful meditation and gentle movement. Orientation is Monday, April 29, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and classes will run Mondays, May 6 – June 24, 9:00 – 11:15 a.m. with a Saturday retreat June 15.
