Five Things: End of Summer Fun
The summer's almost over, but the the fun's not. Here are five things to keep you busy.

View artifacts at the park
A new display of Native American artifacts is on display at the Saluda Shoals Environmental Education Center. Archaeologists have found more than 37,000 artifacts along the banks of the Saluda River in recent years, according to a report from the Associated Press.Â

Sign up for soccer
The Harbison Recreation Center offers a soccer clinic for girls and boys ages five to eight. The program is four weeks long and starts Oct. 3. Register by Sept. 1 at the front desk of the recreation center. The cost is $45 for Harbison residents and $55 for non-residents.

Dance, dance, dance
 Join the party with Zumba classes at Pine Grove Community Center. Classes are on from 7-8 p.m. on Mondays and from 9-10 a.m. on Saturdays. The cost is $8 per class or $40 per month. Call Pine Grove Community Center at 803-213-1296 for more information.Â

Float down the river
Take a trip down the Saluda River with tube or raft rentals from Palmetto Outdoors. Park at the booth at 100 Meeting St. and take a bus to the river entrance near Riverbanks Zoo. Dry clothes and a vehicles will be waiting for you at the exit where the Saluda and Broad rivers meet.

Shake your belly
 Seven Oaks Park is offering belly dance lessons from 6 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 2 - 23. For more information call 803-772-3336.Â
