Free Food, Book Banter and Picnic Fridays

Today is Picnic Friday, an initiative of the Richland County Recreation Commission to get families out to the parks. So, grab your lunch and a blanket and find the nearest park. St. Andrews Park is under construction, but you can eat at the picnic tables at Pine Grove Community Center or at Friarsgate Park in Irmo. 

If you're looking for something to do in the evening, you can join in on at the St. Andrew Regional Library. The discussion will be about "Serena" by Ron Rash. It starts at 7 p.m.
