Gia From 'Bad Girls Club' Arrested for Assault

The reality TV participant was in Columbia promoting the show, according to reports.

A member of the reality TV show "Bad Girls Club" was arrested for assault in downtown Columbia after attending an event promoting the show, according to multiple reports. 

Gia Sapp-Hernandez, who is participating in the eighth season of the show on the cable TV network Oxygen, was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center Friday night, according to a report from TMZ. 

Sapp-Hernandez was in Columbia for a casting call at Club Xcess on Gervais Street in Columbia, according to a post on eventbrite.com.

The show brings a group of self-described "bad girls" together to set out on a mission to change their behaviors while living in a luxurious house for three months. This season of the show takes place in Las Vegas. The show airs at 10 p.m. Mondays on Oxygen.
