Local Artist to Release Song on Valentine's Day
The song is part of Scotland's new album "Land of the Brave."
Christian rapper will release his new song called "All She Wrote" on Valentine's Day.Â
The song, which is from his new album "Land of the Brave," talks about the struggles of love relationships — both between God and man and between men and women, Bailey said.Â
Bailey, who is married and has two young kids, knows that having a family can put stress on a relationship.Â

"The way I was raised, a husband is a prophet, priest and protector," Bailey said, "and it's a struggle to be that sometimes in these days because sometimes your flesh can get the best out of you — you being mad, you being sad, you being tired, just having a long day.
"A lot of men who are leaders of their household like me can possibly relate and say sometimes your life is full of sacrifices, and you can't plan sacrifices."Â

Bailey, who goes by his middle name Scotland, said "Land of the Brave" is different from his past work because he wrote a lot of the lyrics before recording the tracks. In the past, he did more freestyling.Â
Bailey used to call himself "Godchild," but switched to his natural middle name instead. He said he's more comfortable and confident in himself now, so using his own name just made sense.
"I am who I am now," Bailey said. "This Christian music, this urban outreach, this color-outside-the-box mentality that I have is who I am. It's not a cape that I put on. It's not piece of clothing I decide to buy at the store. This is who I am."Â
Bailey said he chose "Land of the Brave" as the title of his new album because Christians have to be brave and resist temptations they face in the world every day.
He also recently discovered that his middle name Scotland means "brave one." He mentions the significance of his name in his promotional track for the album. The track can be downloaded for free on his website.
