Local Artists to Visit Comic Book Store
Comic creators sign their work for fans at Heroes & Dragons comic book store.

will host a signing with three local comic creators Wednesday at its comic book store on Bush River Road.
The store will have copies of the artists' work for sale, said Brian Eison, comic book manager at Heroes & Dragons.
"It gives customers an opportunity to meet people who are producing comics they do buy or can buy from us," Eison said.

Anthony Hightower, Chuck Brown and Steven Prouse are all comic creators and members of 803 Studios. They will be signing copies of their work between 4 and 7 p.m. Wednesday at the store.
Their signatures add value to the comics, Eison said. Plus, it's an opportunity for the artists to get the word out about their work.

"The artists get feedback and develop a fan base," Eison said. "It's nice to be a bridge between fans and creators and vice versa. Just as a local business it's nice to encourage local talent."
