Man Robs Bank on Broad River Road

A man robbed the NBSC around 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Columbia Police Department.

Investigators with the Columbia Police Department are still trying to figure out what happened during a robbery at the National Bank of South Carolina (NBSC) in St. Andrews on Tuesday.

A man entered the bank at 1025 Broad River Road around 4 p.m. and demanded money, said Jennifer Timmons, a spokeswoman for the police department. 

Investigators are trying to determine whether the man had a weapon. They're also working on a better description from witnesses, Timmons said.

No one was injured during the robbery.
