Meet the Candidates for State Senate District 20

The two candidates competing for the Democratic nomination for the Senate seat will be at a forum for residents at St. Andrews Middle School Thursday.

Residents will have a chance to meet the two Democratic candidates for state Senate District 20 Thursday. 

Robert Rikard and Norman Jackson will be at a forum from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at .

"We're going to have everyone come out and meet them," said Paulette Ledbetter, a member of the Richland County Democrats and an executive committee person for the St. Andrews precinct.

"We want people to come out, ask questions and find out whatever they need to know to decide who to vote for." 

Rikard and Jackson are competing for the Democratic nomination for the Senate District 20 seat. The winner of the June 12 primary will face Republican incumbent Sen. John Courson in the general election in November.
