More Than $7K Stolen From Auction House
Deputies are looking for a man caught on surveillance at the store.
Richland County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man caught on suveillance at a Columbia auction house where more than $7,000 in cash, jewelry and other items was stolen.
Deputies responded to a burglary call between 1:30 and 2:12 a.m. on Feb. 22 at Bill Mishoe's Auction House, 6412 Fairfield Road.Â
The victim told deputies someone peeled back the aluminum siding to enter the building and broke two glass windows to get into the office.Â

Close to $4,000 in cash was taken from the desk drawers in the office, according to the sheriff's department. About $275 in rare coins and more than $4,000 in jewelry also were stolen.
The suspect police are looking for was caught on surveillance video carrying a Remington 20 gauge shotgun and another unknown weapon.Â
