Murder Suspect Arrested on Bush River Road

Deputies arrested a man Thursday they say killed two men in Richland County.Â
William Anthony Wallace, 27, is charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
A deputy on patrol Thursday was flagged down by a motorist just before noon on Beckham Swamp and Bluff roads, according to the sheriff's department.

The motorist had found a 24-year-old woman who had severe injuries to the upper body, according to the sheriff's department. She was transported to Palmetto Richland Hospital. Her condition is unknown.Â
The victim told deputies that there were possibly other victims at 8100 Garner's Ferry Road, according to the sheriff's department. Deputies found two men with gunshot wounds to the upper body inside an apartment at the address.

The two victims were also transported to Palmetto Health Richland where they died from their injuries, according to the sheriff's department.
Deputies arrested Wallace around 4 p.m. Thursday at Bush River Road and I-26.Â
Wallace could face other charges, Sheriff Leon Lott said. The sheriff's department is investigating the incident, and more arrests could be made, Lott said.
