New St. Andrews Park a Hit
Park gets good reviews as school lets out and usage goes up.

Haven't checked out yet? Plenty of your neighbors have and the facility is getting rave reviews, especially the pool.
“It’s the best pool I’ve ever been to,” 11-year-old Jakari Lloyd told The State.
The pool is part of a $4.95 million renovation of the park, located at 920 Beatty Road. It's one of the major projects included in a $50 million recreation construction bond approved by the county in 2008, the paper reported.
In addition, the old 8,500-square foot gym was torn down and its place there now exists a 26,400-square foot activities center and a pool house. The center includes basketball courts, a fitness room with exercise equipment and three multi-purpose rooms for meetings or classes.
"Zumba, karate, taekwondo, and tap, ballet, jazz and shag dancing already are on the agenda," the paper reported.
Activity building hours are: 2-9 p.m., Monday-Friday; 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday; 1-6 p.m. Sunday
Pool hours are: 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday; noon-8 p.m. Friday-Saturday; 1-6 p.m. Sunday. Pool fees are $3 for ages 13 and older, $2 ages 4-12, while children 3 and younger swim for free.
