Update: No Signs of Foul Play, Trauma in Infant's Death
The Richland County coroner said further tests need to be completed to determine the cause of death.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said there were no signs of foul play or trauma in the death of a 15-month-old child.
Versha McCants died Thursday at Palmetto Health Richland after being transported from Nay's Child Development Center on Monticello Road, according to a report on wistv.com.
It is still unclear how McCants died, Watts said. The cause of death won't be known until further tests are completed in three to four weeks, he said.

Nay's Child Development Center, located in the Eau Claire community, opened in 2003, according to the center's Facebook page.
