
Columbia and South Carolina could get one to three more inches of rain over the next few days, according to a forecast by The Weather Channel.
The weekend forecast for Columbia calls for showers and thunderstorms Friday and a slight chance of thunderstorms Saturday.
Columbia will also see between a quarter of an inch and a half inch of rain tonight.

An upper air system moving into the east is bringing the much-needed rain to South Carolina and much of the east, according to The Weather Channel. All counties in South Carolina are currently in the moderate stage of drought, according to the State Climatology Office.
Temperatures will remain warm this weekend with highs in the 80s Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Lows will be in the 60s.
