RCSD Seeking Suspect In Theft, Credit Card Fraud
Sheriff's Department releases surveillance video of alleged thief.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for a theft from motor vehicle and credit card fraud.Â
Lott said that between 6 p.m. Sunday, May 27 and 8 a.m. Monday, May 28, at 1340 Longcreek Drive, an unknown suspect or suspects broke into a black 1998 Dodge Durango and stole the victim's credit card, a silver Bulova watch valued at $650, and his wallet.
The victim stated that the suspect(s) made purchases using the credit card at the Exxon gas station at I-20 and Broad River Road on Monday, May 28, at 8:40 a.m.

Sheriff Leon Lott said that a suspect was caught on surveillance video allegedly making purchases with the stolen credit card (see attached video).
