Members of the party will officially vote for President Barack Obama and choose delegates for the county convention.

Richland County Democrats will officially cast their votes for President Barack Obama at precinct re-organization meetings across the county Saturday.

By attending, citizens are automatically voting for Obama, the only candidate on the party's ballot.

The meetings also are the first step for Democrats who want to be delegates at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.
