Ridge View Arts Innovation for Medical Sciences (AiMS) Magnet School was a big winner at a recent virtual awards ceremony held by the South Carolina chapter of the National School Public Relations Association. SC/NSPRA’s Rewards for Excellence Program features three awards programs: Medallion (for comprehensive public relations programs), Golden Achievement (for a single project or an aspect of a comprehensive program), and Publications and Electronic Media (for individual products designed to improve communication). Ridge View won 13 awards, and its newsletter, RV AiMS Point of View, received Best in Show recognition.

“We have worked extremely hard to make communications and marketing a top priority. I am grateful for the excellent job my staff is doing to make sure our families and community are always informed,” said Ridge View principal Dr. Brenda Mack-Foxworth.  The winning entries are as follows: Golden Achievement: Photography: Video (In-house production): More than 100 communications plans, projects, initiatives, and programs were recognized and celebrated. The awards program premiered on YouTube on Thursday, July 15, 2021 and can be viewed at SC/NSPRA’s channel
