Richland One JROTC Cadets Learn Leadership Skills
Columbia High cadet wins an award in a physical challenge at the Citadel.

Columbia High School Air Force JROTC cadets spent part of their summer at the Citadel's Summer Leadership School in Charleston.
Cadet Brandon Shaw won the Fastest Cadre Award for completing the one-mile obstacle course in less than five minutes -- faster than the 200 other cadets at the camp.
The group of 14 cadets completed academic, physical and mental challenges to prepare them for leadership roles in JROTC at their schools.

Cadets from other Richland One high schools also traveled to camps. A group of 28 cadets went to North Georgia College and State University for the JROTC Leadership, Assessment and Development Program.
