Riverbanks Zoo Offers 'Sky-High' Fun with Ropes Course
The zoo's newest attraction gives climbers a giraffe's view of the park.
Zoo-goers can experience the zoo from a much higher point of view thanks to a new attraction.Â
"Sky-High Safari," a 44-foot-tall ropes course, is now open. The course takes climbers through more than 30 balance-testing obstacles, including rope ladders, bridges, nets and tight-rope style footlines.
Climbers are secured with a full-body harness and tied to an overhead tracking system as they navigate through the course.

The three-story course can accomodate multiple climbers at one time.
While walking on the ropes, bridges and ladders, climbers have a view of the zoo's African Savanna exhibit, which is located across from the ropes course.Â
