Riverbanks Zoo Sells Flowers for Fall Planting

Riverbanks' horticulture staff selected the bulbs with the most blooms for the zoo's annual sale.

Want to bring the beauty of Riverbanks Zoo's Botanical Garden to your yard?

The zoo is selling bulbs for fall planting on its website. Customers can choose from more than 25 types of flowers, including tulips, daffodils and crinums. Prices range from $4 to $20.

The flowers for sale are some of the same ones on display in the zoo's Botanical Garden, such as the Narcissus 'Tahiti,' a yellow daffodil with orange in the middle.
