Motorists can expect delays in two areas of St. Andrews next week due to road work.  The South Carolina Department of Transportation announced traffic delays for the week of Aug. 15 due to construction projects on Piney Grove and Broad River roads.  Motorists can expect delays and flagging operations on the section of Piney Grove Road between the Lexington County line and Broad River Road. Road crews will be resurfacing the road. The work is expected to be complete by Aug. 31.  The replacement of the bridge over the Broad River will cause minor delays and flagging operations on Broad River Road between Greystone Boulevard and Lucious Road. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. The expected completion date is May 2013.
