Anyone planning to enjoy the warm weather on or near the Saluda River Thursday and Friday should use extra caution.  SCE&amp;G plans to release water from the Lake Murray Dam, pushing the river level higher than normal. The releases are scheduled through 5 p.m. Thursday and from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Water levels can rise or fall well after the releases, according to <a href="http://www.sceg.com/en/my-community/lower-saluda-river/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the SCE&amp;G website</a>. People using the river should be careful throughout the day Thursday and Friday because the release times are approximate.  SCE&amp;G also has releases scheduled for April 10, 11 and 12.
