Schlotzsky's Deli Adds Sweet Treats

The Schlotzsky's Deli on Bush River Road now has sandwiches and dessert all under one roof. 

Cinnabon, a sister company of Schlotzsky's Deli, opened on June 29 inside the restaurant. Both brands are owned by the Atlanta-based company FOCUS Brands, according to the Schlotsky's Newsroom blog.

Bhazna Patel, owner of the Schlotzsky's at 529 Bush River Rd., said the cinnamon rolls have drawn a new crowd of customers.

"We've seen people just coming by and picking up a pack or maybe stopping by after lunch to have a dessert," said Patel, who has owned the Schlotzsky's on Bush River Road for 15 years. 

The restaurant now offers the Cinnabon Classic Roll, Caramel Pecanbons and Cinnapaks, packages of four or six cinnamon rolls to share, Patel said. 

FOCUS Brands bought Schlotzsky's in 2006. The company launched its partnership with Cinnabon in 2010.
