Sheriff: Man Used Stolen Credit Card at Walmart

Deputies are asking for the public's help identifying the man.

Richland County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man they say used a stolen credit card to buy a TV at Walmart on Harbison Boulevard. 

The credit card was stolen between noon Dec. 21 and 9 a.m. Dec. 22 at 100 Finley Road in Northeast Richland County, according to the sheriff's department. A debit card, a check for $250, and a black and red wallet containing $30 and the victim's driver's license also were stolen.

The man who used the credit card to buy a $265 high-definition TV at the Harbison Boulevard Walmart was driving a light-colored Ford Crown Victoria, deputies say.

Suveillance cameras caught the suspect leaving the store. The sheriff's department is asking anyone with information to call 1-888-CRIME-SC.
