Sheriff's Department Offers 'Fresh Start'
Richland County citizens can have outstanding warrants cleared.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is offering citizens with outstanding warrants a fresh start this week.Â
Anyone with a non-violent magistrate-level warrant can schedule an appointment to appear before a judge and clear the warrant.Â
The sheriff's department is partnering with the magistrate's office for "Operation Fresh Start." Anyone interested in participating should call  803-576-3167 or 803-576-3042 to schedule an appointment with a judge. Calls can be made through Friday, March 30.Â

Anyone with existing traffic court or magistrate-level warrants that can be cleared with the payment of a fine will have the opportunity to arrange a payment program with the court. Â
