Sheriff's Deputy Wins 'One Man Army'
The TV show puts participants through challenges of speed, strength and intelligence.

A Richland County Sheriff's deputy was put to the test in a three-part competition of power, endurance and intelligence.
Scott Puckett competed in Discovery Channel's "One Man Army," a TV show that combines extreme sports, elite military and special operatives.Â
Puckett, a former Marine, went up against three competitors — a former U.S. Navy Seal, a SWAT officer and an Israeli Secret Service operative — and won.Â

The TV show, hosted by a former U.S. Army Special forces veteran, puts participants through three challenges, eliminating one competitor after each round. The last one standing wins the $10,000 prize.Â
Sheriff Leon Lott recognized Puckett for successfully using "his mind and body to overcome some extreme obstacles and opposition" during the competition. Â
