When the tow truck arrived, the two men asked the driver for a ride to the compound to get their vehicle back, deputies say. Once they arrived at the compound on Ellerbee Street, the two men pulled a semi-automatic handgun on the driver and demanded money, deputies say.
They fired shots at the driver as he ran away, and fired more shots at him as they drove away in their vehicle that had been towed, deputies say.Â
