  1. The Richland County Sheriff's Department released an update yesterday on the husband and wife who were found fatally shot in a Columbia senior living facility Tuesday. It's been determined that David Sprague, 83, and Phyllis Sprague, 86, died in an apparent murder-suicide. The investigation found that David Sprague shot his wife Phyllis Sprague before shooting himself. (ColaDaily.com)
  2. City of Columbia employees have until Nov. 1 to get the COVID-19 vaccine. City officials say if they don't get vaccinated, they could be terminated. "We're very serious about the Nov. 1 deadline," said City Councilman Howard Duvall. Duvall says the city is offering a $500 incentive to employees who get the vaccine. (WACH.com)
  3. Columbia's Just the Thing boutique is planning to celebrate 30 years of business with a celebration Tuesday, Oct. 19. There will be treats, discounts, and drawings for a chance to win up to 30% off customer orders. (ColaDaily.com)
