Vote for Your School to Win $1K in Books

Could your school library use some extra books? 

Rush's restaurant is giving local elementary schools the chance to win $1,000 in books with their "Grade School Giveaway" contest.

Fans can vote for their favorite elementary school on Rush's Facebook page until April 16. 

The three elementary schools in the St. Andrews area — Pine Grove Elementary, Sandel Elementary and H.B. Rhame Elementary — are in the running.

Elementary schools in Richland One, Richland Two, Kershaw, Lexington One, Lexington Two and Lexington-Richland 5 are also competing in the contest. 

The three schools with the most votes will receive a $1,000 credit to purchase books from Follet library services. 

WACH Fox is administering the contest. Winners will be announced on air and online on April 18.
