  1. On Sunday morning, a woman was shot and killed at a Fairfield Road bar, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department. Deputies responded to the scene at Felicity's Bar, located at 7708 Fairfield Rd. near Oaks Hill Golf Club for reports of a shooting. Once they arrived, they found a woman at the front of the bar suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. (WIS10)
  2. On Saturday, the Right Direction Church International partnered with the Richland County Sheriff's Department to host a "Guns for Gifts" event that allowed people to turn in their unused guns in exchange for a $50 gift card. Captain Scott McManus from the Sheriff's Evidence department documented each firearm that was turned in. Captain McManus says they will stay at the Sheriff's Department with no chance of getting back on the street. (WIS10)
  3. Pine Island is set to soon become a state park, making it accessible to the public as the final parts of the sale are worked out. The once exclusive Lake Murray property, valued at $9.5 million, is in the process of being sold to the State of South Carolina. (WLTX.com)
