Conway High School to launch innovative 3-D-E program in fall (wmbfnews.com) — Conway High School is rolling out a new 3-D-E learning program this fall that will put freshmen to work solving real-world problems for local employers like Conway Medical Center and Palmetto Corporation. Horry County Schools leaders say the no-cost initiative will connect classroom lessons to practical challenges through five-week case studies, and they’re aiming to enroll 100 to 150 incoming ninth graders.
   

3. 'We trust the system': Conway cross-burning victims patiently waiting for justice (wpde.com) — A Conway family targeted by an alleged cross-burning hate crime told a federal judge they still fear intimidation as the accused man seeks release on bond. Prosecutors argue he remains a danger and flight risk, while his attorney says he has Conway housing options and has followed court orders as the judge weighs a detention decision.
   

4. Conway man accused of shooting at family member multiple times (wpde.com) — Conway police say a 36-year-old man is jailed on an attempted murder charge after a family member reported he was shot at multiple times in a backyard on Sixth Avenue. Officers say the suspect fled in a Jeep Cherokee before being arrested and booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center, with the investigation still ongoing.
   

5. (20) CCU baseball rallies for 5-3 win over The Citadel (wbtw.com) — Coastal Carolina baseball fans in Conway saw a big comeback Tuesday night, as the No. 20 Chanticleers erased an early three-run hole to beat The Citadel 5–3 in their home finale at Springs Brooks Stadium. Strong nights from Blake Barthol and Rex Watson powered the offense, while relievers Case Bosch and Ryan Lynch slammed the door before CCU heads to Louisiana for its final regular-season series.
