• Piedmont Medical Center Debuts New Level III NICU in Fort Mill (wrhi.com) — Families in Fort Mill will soon have access to a new Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Piedmont Medical Center, opening May 12. The expanded unit adds about 10 beds and advanced care for premature and medically fragile newborns, meaning many York County families no longer need to travel out of town for critical neonatal treatment. 
• Rock Hill region $1 million sales include Fort Mill church buying an old town hall (heraldonline.com) — A major Fort Mill property changed hands as First Baptist Church of Fort Mill bought the former Town Hall site on Tom Hall Street for $2.4 million. The nearly 3-acre property was once a Comporium office and became surplus after town functions moved to the former Springs Industries building, alongside several other million-dollar deals across the Rock Hill region.
