Goose Creek Rec Offers Gymnastics Variety

Goose Creek's gymnastics program has opportunities for young people (and even toddlers) to excel on the mat.

has a program for tumblers from beginning to advanced.

Children ages 2-4 would fit into the class, which focuses on gaining a familiarity with the the equipment and learning strength, flexibility and coordination.

At 4, girls can participate in , gaining more experience vault, uneven bars, beam and floor.

Boys ages 4-8 have their own program with . They'll take on vault, pommel horse, rings, parallel bars, floor and horizontal bar

Individuals 10 and up can participate in the recreation department's class. Instructors focus on safety and problem solving in this unique sport that challenges runners with obstacles they have to jump, dodge, leap and roll over.
