• Neighbors contain fire in Goose Creek before Fire Department arrives, officials said (counton2.com) — Neighbors at The Passages Apartments in Goose Creek quickly put out a stovetop fire Monday using extinguishers before firefighters arrived, preventing it from spreading beyond the kitchen. Goose Creek Fire Department crews ventilated the unit, removed a cat for veterinary care, and began investigating the cause.
