3. 'Spy Kids' star Alexa PenaVega mourns Hayden Panettiere, Daveigh Chase, Michelle Trachtenberg deaths (meaww.com) — Greenville County officials are continuing to investigate actress Hayden Panettiere's recent death after she was found unresponsive while temporarily staying in the city, with an autopsy showing no signs of trauma so far. The Greenville County Coroner's Office says cause and manner of death remain pending further studies. Actress Alexa PenaVega, speaking from Greenville, is publicly mourning Panettiere and two other former child stars while reflecting on pressures of young fame.

Converse University Announces New 2026-2027 Trustees (greenvillebusinessmag.com) — Converse University has added four new trustees, including leaders with strong Upstate ties to Greenville and Clemson. One new member grew up in Greenville, while another worked at Michelin's Greenville corporate office and on local educational projects. Their backgrounds in finance, architecture, law enforcement, and accounting are expected to shape Converse's future growth and regional partnerships.

Hayden Panettiere's BF Brian Hickerson Denied Reduced Charges in DV Case Involving Her (tmz.com) — Hayden Panettiere died Sunday in Greenville, where medics responded to an apparent cardiac arrest and pronounced her dead at the scene, according to reports. The update also details a Los Angeles judge's recent decision to keep prior felony domestic violence convictions against her boyfriend Brian Hickerson from being reduced or expunged, days before her death.
