• Hartsville man gets prison time for breaking into business, stealing tires (wbtw.com) — A Hartsville resident has been sentenced to active prison time and probation for breaking into a North Fifth Street business and stealing multiple tires, after investigators used surveillance video to identify him. The conviction counts as a strike under South Carolina’s repeat-offender law, meaning any future serious offenses could bring much harsher penalties.
