• Turtle Trackers takes sea turtle education beyond the beach (blufftonsun.com) — Hilton Head Island volunteers with Turtle Trackers are still busy educating residents and visitors even as this year's strong sea turtle nesting season winds down. Local beach ambassadors and off-beach partners help keep beaches clean, dark, and safe for hatchlings. The group welcomes volunteers from Hilton Head, Bluffton, and beyond for beach walks, learning stations, and school programs. 
• The Concert Truck returns for four free performances (blufftonsun.com) — Free outdoor piano concerts are coming back to Hilton Head Island on Sept. 28–29, with four short, family- and sensory-friendly performances at Jarvis Creek Park, Shelter Cove Community Park, Sunshine House, and Harbour Point/Sunset Pointe. All shows are open to the public, feature acclaimed pianists Susan Zhang and Jonathan Mamora, and are supported by the Town's Office of Cultural Affairs and local arts partners.
