• Video shows eastern diamondback swimming the length of a backyard pool in South Carolina (thecooldown.com) — A Hilton Head Island homeowner captured video of a large eastern diamondback rattlesnake calmly swimming the length of a Palmetto Dunes backyard pool before heading toward nearby woods, underscoring how close wildlife lives to local homes.
