Get the best deals in town at the Friends of the Richland County Public Library’s Summer Book Sale, and support the library!

The Friends’ Summer Book Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 14 at the RCPL Operations Center, 130 Lancewood Rd. A preview sale for Friends’
members only will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 13. (Memberships, which start at only $25, are available at the door.)
Choose from thousands of print and nonprint materials in all genres, from fiction and nonfiction to children’s books and other rare finds, for the best bargains in town. Prices start as low as 50 cents for paperbacks and $1 for hardbacks.

Last year, the Friends’ book sales raised more than $80,000 to support special programs and services not available through the library’s budget appropriation from Richland County.
