I normally post a short tutorial on our blogger site after our Monday Morning Quick Craft. This past Monday I decided that it might be easier to do the tutorial as a video instead of trying to write up the instructions. Now you have to remember that Grandma is a very camera shy person, and doesn't even like to record her own voice on the voice mail. But, I figured I'd give it a try.
We made small bags out of magazine pages. The idea was simple, I had searched to find instructions on making gift bags and all of them required a lot of measuring which I didn't want to do. So, I wanted to teach the class to make the bag without the need for a ruler. The bags came out great, the video not so much.
My "camera man" (Melissa's new title) was instructed to only video my hands ... how bad could that be? Well let me tell you, after looking at the video my hands should be just as camera shy as the rest of me. And, it's a really good thing I never wanted to be a motivational speaker.
