National Signing Day: District 5 Athletes Signed, Commit to Colleges

Wednesday is National Signing Day and several students in Lexington-Richland 5 have signed a letter of intent or committed to colleges.

At Chapin High School, four student athletes have announced their decision to sign or commit to college-level sports.

The following students signed letters of intent:

• Mason Zandi, offensive lineman, signed to the University of South Carolina

• Haley McCoy, distance runner, signed to Presbyterian College
• Heath Lorick, distance runner, signed to East Carolina University

The following students committed to a college:

• Lannon McCoy, distance runner, committed to the University of South Carolina
