Hundreds of Chapin High School seniors waited in the Elephant Room of the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia before the commencement exercise Wednesday.
The Class of 2012 helped one another put on their caps and gowns, and took pictures of their fellow classmates an hour before the ceremony was scheduled to start.
