Police Search for Cash Register Robber
Detectives are searching for a man that stole a cash register from a business near Irmo.
Lexington County Sheriff’s detectives need your help in identifying a man who broke into an Irmo area business.
At about 1:45 a.m. on Thursday, a man broke into Software Seconds at 6903 St. Andrews Road near Irmo.
A man used a hard object to shatter the front glass door at Software Seconds and stole a cash register, according to the sheriff's department.

Detectives released two surveillance photos of the suspect, which can be seen to the right of the article.
The man is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 30, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, and weighing between 170 to 190 pounds.

The man is also described as having a thin build with short hair.
He was wearing a reddish hoodie jacket, which had a large diamond pattern with symbols in each large diamond shape. He was also wearing white, plaid shorts.
