It’s time to say a final good-bye to the current Bethel-Hanberry Elementary school building. All former students and employees are being invited back to walk the halls and visit old classrooms one last time prior to the school’s demolition. Through the 2018 bond referendum, the district is building a new facility to address safety and security needs, and to make improvements that support teaching and learning. The historic gym will remain onsite and undergo renovations.  Specific dates and times are planned for each generation of students and staff to come back and reminisce. Visitors are asked to attend on the day marked for the date range of their attendance or employment as indicated on the following tour schedule.  Tour Schedule Construction on the new school began in December 2020. There is enough room on the site to build the new school while keeping the old one open. Bethel-Hanberry Elementary is located at 125 Boney Road, Blythewood, SC.
