During this Virtual Choice Fair, students and parents will learn about schools and programs in a Virtual Exhibition Hall and have access to videos and brochures on each school. Parents should note, the R2eSchool is now a Choice option.  Information will also be available for district programs such as the Richland Two Institute of Innovation (R2i2) Student Innovation Center and the Richland Two AVID Early College. An informational video on how to navigate the online application will also be available. To register for the Virtual Choice Fair, visit https://rsd2choice.vfairs.com/ Since 1991, students in Richland Two have been given the opportunity to learn in schools beyond their residentially zoned school. Through the Choice program, they may apply to attend another school or magnet program within the district. Parents may apply electronically each December or May for placement that will take effect the following school year. Only students residentially zoned for Richland Two are eligible to apply and participate. Parents and/or guardians must provide transportation for all Choice options. The Choice I application window opens Dec. 13, 2021 and closes Jan. 26, 2022. Families may apply online at www.richland2.org/choice Richland Two offers a variety of Choice and Magnet themes that include: collaboration, leadership, dual language immersion, exercise physiology and sports medicine, Montessori, single gender, STEM, STEAM, STEAM+Medical, zoological and botanical sciences, fine arts, International Baccalaureate, business and law, business and economics, civic engagement and much more.
