$5 HCF members | $10
nonmembers

 Join John
Sherrer, Historic Columbia Foundation’s Director of Cultural Resources, as he
explores the ceramics interests of 19th-century Columbians. Starting with a
guided tour of our current exhibit, From Landrum to Leeds: Common Ceramics in
19th-Century Columbia, participants will then travel to Forest Acres to see the
former location of the Landrum pottery. Next stop will be Main Street, where
locals purchased a variety of domestically produced and imported wares for
their homes and businesses during the 1800s. Second Sunday Strolls and
Rolls provide a guided walking or bus tour for many of the neighborhoods
featured in Historic Columbia Foundation's Retrace: Connecting Communities
Through History brochures. Each tour highlights part of Columbia’s history
through its historic neighborhoods and districts. This month's bus tour is 90 –
120 minutes in length.

Reservations requested.
Walk-ups welcome if space permits. To RSVP please call 803.252.1770, ext. 24 or
email reservations@historiccolumbia.org.
