1. Adult Summer Reading Grand Finale Prize Drawing
Head to the Irmo Branch Library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for the summer reading finale. You do not have to be present to win, but winners who are present will get to choose their prize. Call 798-7880 for more information.
2. Bubble Tea Cafe to Host Author for Book Signing
Columbia-based author and poet John M. Starino will be reading from his collections, "Onion Season Pt. 1" and "Onion Season Pt. 2" from 12 to 2 p.m Saturday at Bubble Tea Cafe on Bower Parkway.
3. Kids' Fest
Come join Sylvan Learning Center at the Anchor Lanes Annual Bowling Blast Off & Kids Festival held at Anchor Lanes in Irmo. There will be a variety of games, prizes, contests and local businesses participating. Come join the fun!
4. Splash & Dash Youth Aquathlon
Does a race that involves running and swimming sound like fun? Then head to the Northwest Family YMCA at 9 a.m. Saturday for the Splash & Dash Youth Aquathlon. Read more about the event on the Patch calendar.
