Police leaders detailed quarterly internal audits, shorter data retention, and an online transparency portal, while council members signaled support but emphasized continuing to track best practices and technology changes. 
• Isle of Palms completes first beach renourishment phase weeks ahead of schedule (live5news.com) — Isle of Palms has finished the first phase of its major beach renourishment project more than two weeks early, with 900,000 cubic yards of sand already placed. Work is now underway on Reach 2 and will eventually cover the entire island shoreline, widening the beach, strengthening dunes, and improving storm protection while keeping the beach open with rotating fenced work zones.
