• ‘The Look on His Face Said It All' (vfw.org) — A 109-year-old Navy veteran now living at River Park Senior Living in Little River was honored with a huge birthday parade organized by local veterans, first responders, and neighbors. More than 200 people, motorcycles, police cars, and even WWII-era Jeeps turned out in nearby North Myrtle Beach to celebrate his life and service.
