• North Myrtle Beach begins dunes restoration in north Cherry Grove section (dredgewire.com) — Sand stored at a spoils basin off Little River Neck Road is now being trucked to Cherry Grove, where North Myrtle Beach crews are rebuilding dunes ahead of summer. Using leftover sand from a 2025 dredging project, the city is filling in a previously skipped stretch of shoreline north of 60th Avenue, with work expected to wrap up by the end of May.
