• 'Transparency matters': Mount Pleasant PD issues statement on Flock cameras, 2026 outcomes (counton2.com) — Mount Pleasant police are explaining exactly how their Flock license-plate cameras work, stressing that they track vehicles, not faces, and that images are kept only seven days. With 18 fixed cameras and four mobile units across town, the system has already produced 33 case outcomes and nine significant arrests in 2026. Residents are urged to review detailed policies on the department's online Transparency Portal.
