• Brookgreen Gardens invites families to annual Children's Imagination Walk on October 24 (whosonthemove.com) — Families in Murrells Inlet can look forward to Brookgreen Gardens’ annual Children’s Imagination Walk on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids can follow a pumpkin-marked trail for crafts, games, treats, and a 2 p.m. costume parade, with local partners like Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office and Midway Fire Department joining the fun on the garden grounds.
   

• Interview: Surfside Beach police chief talks Fishing for the Mission 22's Slider Showdown (wbtw.com) — An upcoming Salute to Service Slider Showdown will be held Saturday at Wicked Tuna in Murrells Inlet, raising awareness for Fishing for the Mission 22’s work with veterans and first responders.   • As I was walking the dogs, I noticed the colorful sky.
    Not enough time to go to Huntington, so I took these from the street…… (Nextdoor Georgetown County)
  • First I would like to say I understand when we hire an electrician, plumber, mechanic we are paying for their knowledge, expertise, and labor, gas cost, etc… We got a quote from an electrician for a job.
